The first update we want to discuss is the 3.0-liter turbo-diesel Duramax engine. It receives a new turbocharger, new pistons and a new combustion bowl, and those changes increase performance to an impressive 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque. You can opt for the Duramax on all trims beyond the Custom trim level. Chevrolet has introduced new special editions as well. Perhaps the most notable of those is the All Star package, which is available with the popular LT trim level.
Chevrolet is an MLB partner and has released this edition in celebration of the MLB All-Star game. The package includes the trailer-tow group, which makes it a worthwhile consideration for drivers who were going to choose that upgrade anyway. It also adds LED headlamps, remote engine start, a security system, a dual-zone automatic climate control system, 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with adjustable lumbar and a 110-volt household-style power outlet.
