Powertrain - Chevrolet Dealership in Pittsburg CA
Chevrolet has made some refinements to the powertrain and chassis. That has allowed it to increase its estimated range on a full charge to 259 miles. Output remains the same at 200 horsepower and 266 lb.-ft. feet of torque with all power distributed to the front wheels. Car and Driver magazine applauds the Bolt EV for delivering “instantaneous response” and “ample low-end torque.” The Bolt EV does support a one-pedal driving mode. You can activate it via a button on the dashboard. Once activated, it increases the intensity of the regenerative braking system to the point where you rarely have to use the brakes.
